ICFAI Business School Wins Dark Side Case Award in the US

This is the third time in the last four years that IBS has won this prestigious award

Hyderabad, August 19, 2018: ICFAI Business School Hyderabad has won the highly prestigious Dark Side Case Award, organized by the Critical Management Studies division of Academy of Management (AOM) for the third time. The AOM Annual Meeting is the preeminent management conference in the world and its 78th conference was held in Chicago from August 10-14, 2018.

IBS won the Dark Side Case Award for the case “Ashley Madison Hacking and the Ethics of Hacktivism” written by Dr. Debapratim Purkayastha, Ms. Syeda Maseeha Qumer and Mr. Koti Vinod Babu.

Another case “United Airlines Inc.: The Manhandling Incident” written by Dr. Vijaya Narapareddy (University of Denver), Ms. Qumer and Dr. Purkayastha was also a Finalist in the competition.

Other Finalists in the competition were from institutions like University of Bath, Victoria University of Wellington, and University of Galsgow.

"A Sexual Harassment Complaint and the Fallout" has won the prestigious Dark Side Case Award at the Academy of Management (AOM) Annual Meeting, Atlanta, Georgia, USA in August 2017.

What's Good for the Goose is Not Good for the Gander? has won the 2015 Dark Side Case Award, presented by the Critical Management Studies division of the Academy of Management (AOM).
