Otsuka Kagu Ltd. was established in March 1969 in Tokyo by Katsuhisa Otsuka . Since then, it was regarded as one of Japan’s biggest and largest retail chains with over a dozen showrooms. It was involved in the manufacture and sale of interior furniture for households, drawing rooms, boardrooms, welfare health facilities, public areas, and guest rooms of hotels, corporate and medical facilities, stores, and cruise ships. The furniture included sofas, armchairs, couches, corner sofas, reclining sofas, recliners, sofa beds, TV boards, living tables, dining tables, dining chairs, cupboards, storage furniture, beds, mattresses, night tables, bedding products, dressers, desks, work chairs, kids’ furniture, Japanese furniture, curtains, lighting products, carpets, and rugs.
