Introduction

In March 2022, Big Bang Food Tech (BBFT) a trade name for HDA Flavour Pvt Ltd, raised ₹48 million (US$ 0.6 million) in seed funding led by Artha Venture Fund, India's first early-stage micro-VC fund. The founding team led by Abhimanyu Singh Rana (Rana) was expected to deploy part of the proceeds from this round to upgrade BBFT’s supply chain technology and grow the team.

BBFT was founded in October 2021 as a food brand aggregator with the objective of acquiring Indian food brands with a proven Product-Market Fit (PMF).
