Abstract Case Intro
David Green (Green) and Tom Lougy (Lougy) are close friends. They are both pursuing an MBA at the University of Chicago. After finishing their semester exams, they had to complete their final project. Both were anxious about the project as it carried a lot of weightage. Finally, they decided to discuss the issue with Bill Eckhardt, one of their faculty members. Eckhardt was surprised to see them in college even after finishing their exams.
"You are still hanging around here? You should be relaxing and enjoying yourself now," said Eckhardt.
"How can we enjoy when we have so many problems," replied Green.
"Problems! At this age? I seriously doubt it," said Eckhardt.
"We are really facing a big problem. Please help us," said Lougy.
"I hope you are not referring to personal problems," said Eckhardt.
Green laughed and replied that it was nothing personal and that it was related to their project.
"What's there to worry about?" replied Eckhardt.
"The fact is, Dr. Eckhardt, we are confused," replied Lougy.
