In May 2024, Lisa Lutoff-Perlo (Lisa) resigned from the post of Vice Chairman of external affairs, Royal Caribbean Group (RCG), to become President and CEO of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Miami , host committee. By assuming the new role she broke one more stereotype attached to women leaders. Lisa was among the few former CEOs outside the sports industry to lead the Miami host committee.
